Angry BT customer Chris Lawler has distributed 12,000 flyers

In a one-man war against the communications giant – after the firm refused to fix his phone.

The retired Ministry of Defence butler has handed out the cards with friends across the region – including in Stoke-on-Trent and Manchester and Nottingham – to highlight his ‘horror story’.

The cards state: ‘Thinking of switching to BT? Well think again and call me – you will be glad you did’. The back of the card adds: ‘It’s good to talk, so talk to me’.

Now consumer champion Chris says he has received 350 calls and emails from people who received the cards and have bad BT experiences. The 61-year-old said: “I did this to show that you don’t have to put up with appalling customer service and you can stand up to these companies.
